Prosciutto Wrapped Figs

Today I got my first box from Abundant Harvest! I don't think people get how excited I was to get it! All kinds of great fresh produce I get to cook some fun meals with! Some of the produce I had never heard of so I am absolutely loving trying new foods!

I was most excited about the figs. I know people eat them more as an appetizer, but I wanted to work it into a meal. So I wrapped them in Prosciutto and added them to our Fettuccine Alfredo. It was quite yummy if I do say so myself!

Now for the Figs recipe!

Ingredients:
Figs
Prosciutto
Honey

First preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Wash and quarter your figs. Take strips of Prosciutto and wrap them around the figs (I cut the prosciutto into strips about an inch wide and four inches long). Set them on top of parchment paper on a cookie sheet and just drizzle a little honey on each one.

Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the prosciutto is a bit crispy. These taste great as an appetizer or putting them in Fettuccine like we did!

Hope you enjoy!
